The staff at the Anchor were friendly, attentive, and really made our trip enjoyable. the riverside location of the hotel was a great bonus. - It was situated in a quiet area, which was nice.

Location: the hotel was very close to a beautiful old pub, and restaurants and nearby services. The breakfast was great with plenty of meals.

The staff was pleasant, the room was compact and tidy, with a bath and shower, and the location in a lovely area was stunning and particularly good.

We had a lovely room overlooking coutryside and the river, the proprietor and staff were friendly and helpfull. The food was amazing. We left well fed and very relaxed and will definately stay again when in the area....

Stunning and great location for Mepal, very close to the local wildlife and the views for miles across The Fens and to Ely Cathedral on the horizon, restaurants and nearby services and going for a nice walk.

The Anchor in Mepal is an interesting place for one night. the interior is nice with modern rooms. - the beds are very comfy. - the staff is efficient and attentive. - the location is stunning and amazing, within walking distance of everywhere.

Here you'll find rooms that come with WiFi and showers, so you'll stay connected and fresh. On top of that, there's a fun table tennis setup for some entertainment. the staff are also friendly and full of useful tips to make your stay even better! 🏓

The location near the river and nature reserve was fantastic, the staff provided excellent service, and the room was spacious with wifi, making my weekend truly enjoyable.

Efficient staff here made our stay smooth and easy. the room is modern and cozy, with a mini-fridge, 2 TVs, and a hair dryer - everything you need. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fluffy toasted muffins topped with poached eggs drenched in savory hollandaise sauce. 🍳

The staff here are friendly and easy to interact with, and the location by the river is serene and beautiful.

The value for the money was unbeatable, with immaculate rooms and all the small extras like mini fridges and hot chocolate. The peaceful location near the river was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness.

The menu for breakfast could use improvement.
